Weidmüller's Klippon® Service Configure-to-Order rack configuration and fast delivery services offer several advantages, providing quotes within minutes, enabling customized production, and limiting the shipping time of customer-assembled products. This rapid service is made possible by Weidmüller's rack configuration software, Weidmüller Configurator (WMC), which helps users independently plan, record, request quotes, and order products – available 24/7. Based on the user's service requirements, Weidmüller assembles the selected components according to the user's WMC settings within the agreed timeframe (4 days, 9 days, or other time requirements) and ships the products directly.
If users choose to design in the ECAD system, they only need to import data records through the WMC interface to set up the required services. To facilitate the handling of small orders and make individual orders more cost-effective, orders can be placed in batches.
Weidmüller offers assembly services for the following product groups through the ConfiguretoOrder order configuration service:
Klippon®Connect terminal block products: terminal block assembly and shipping services.
Klippon® Protect Junction Boxes: Custom junction box service, including openings, cable connector installation, and other openings can all be customized to user requirements. Additional components can also be added.
Klippon®Connect terminal block products + Klippon®Protect junction box are assembled junction boxes with assembly rails and other components (such as cable liners or sealing plugs).
Using the ConfiguretoOrder order configuration service, you can specify the shipping time. Weidmüller offers the following three service standards for users to choose from:
Weidmüller Order Configuration Service: Three Service Standards
Weidmüller's WMC configuration software helps users select and configure rails, junction boxes, and other accessories. Users can complete design and configuration within the WMC software, or import data from the ECAD system, perform final debugging in WMC, and then transfer the data back to the ECAD system. Regardless of the method used, the real-time updated centralized documentation benefits users and avoids issues such as transmission errors and sharing sensitive data with third parties. Using STEP, after conversion to a common 3D CAD format, the WMC solution can be directly imported into the MCAD system, ensuring data consistency across user systems.
Download and install the WMC configuration software immediately.
Data security and intuitiveness, real-time updates, rationality checks, and seamless documentation ensure users can 100% trust their settings, while clear 3D real-time visualization makes setup extremely simple. A convenient integration interface facilitates importing and exporting product data between WMC and other common design tools (e.g., E³ or EPLANelectric P8). Forward-looking, high-quality product data and standardized export capabilities prepare for the increasing automation of control cabinet assembly.
