Winding is a key process in the production and processing of motor windings. Except for fully automated winding and embedding integrated equipment, most production processes separate the winding and embedding processes. During the production and processing of electromagnetic wire, the winding method and arrangement of the wire have a great impact on its later use. To prevent similar problems from occurring, motor manufacturers should reach a consensus with the electromagnetic wire supplier, taking into account their own winding processes, and control aspects such as single-shaft weight, the fit between the spool and the equipment, and the arrangement of the electromagnetic wire, to ensure that the production output meets the requirements for use.
Three Stages of Development in China's Electromagnetic Wire Industry
●Initial Stage. From the 1960s to the mid-1980s, China established the production capacity of basic varieties of electromagnetic wire based on self-reliance, and possessed the infrastructure and professional personnel to develop new varieties, creating the necessary conditions for development from the late 1980s to the 1990s.
● Rapid Development Period. In the 1990s, companies in the enameled wire industry gradually introduced complete sets of technologies and equipment for producing enameled wires from advanced industrial countries. From raw and auxiliary materials (conductor cores, insulation materials, etc.), production equipment (drawing machines, enameling machines, and winding machines, etc.) to finished product testing equipment, the production capacity and technical level of enameled wires gradually entered the ranks of the world's advanced.
●Industrialization Stage. Entering the 21st century, with the rapid development of China's power, home appliance, electronics, and communications industries, enameled wire manufacturers have rapidly expanded their production scale in recent years. Older companies have been eliminated, while new ones have emerged, essentially forming a new enameled wire industry landscape in China. A number of large-scale, technologically advanced companies have emerged and gradually become industry leaders.
Although China's enameled wire industry started relatively late, its large market potential and low labor costs have enabled enameled wire manufacturers to develop rapidly. During this period, Chinese enameled wire manufacturers gradually narrowed the technological gap with advanced industrial countries by introducing advanced equipment and technology and achieving technological breakthroughs through independent research and development. The technology and processes of some products have reached international advanced levels.
