Storage method for high-temperature pumps when not in use for a long time

High-temperature pumps should be stored properly when not in use for extended periods.

High-temperature pumps are widely used in industries such as small precision mold temperature controllers, medical sterilization, small hot oil furnaces, boiler feedwater, testing equipment, and constant temperature oil baths. This pump is a tubular high-temperature medium transfer and circulation vortex pump, transferring and circulating liquids (water, heat transfer oil, etc.) that do not contain particles or fibers. High-temperature pumps feature space-saving installation, exquisite appearance, high strength, precise fit, high temperature resistance, and stable operation.

To effectively ensure the working efficiency of high-temperature pumps and extend the service life of the equipment, we need to pay attention to the following methods during use:

1. If the high-temperature pump is not used for a long time, it should be placed in a dry, clean environment free of corrosive gases.

2. Regularly grease the equipment. High-temperature pumps operate at high speeds, and the grease is prone to evaporation. Therefore, it is essential to keep the lubricant at the bearings clean and to replenish or replace it as needed.

3. Regularly inspect the high-temperature pump. The inspection includes checking the internal wiring, plugs, and switches for proper condition, insulation resistance for normal condition, brush tail seat for looseness, commutator and brush for good contact, armature winding and stator winding for open circuits, and bearings and rotating parts for damage, etc.

4. For high-temperature pumps, pay attention to the insulation resistance. For electric liquid pumps that have been stored for a long time or used in humid environments, the insulation resistance of the windings must be measured with a 500V megohmmeter before use. If the insulation resistance between the windings and the motor housing is less than 7 megohms, the windings must be dried.

5. Preserve each part and replace it with the same part. When disassembling and inspecting the gear oil pump, each part should be preserved. Special attention should be paid to the explosion-proof surface of the explosion-proof parts, and roughening, including the insulating gaskets and sleeves, to prevent damage. If any damage is found, a new part of the same type must be replaced. Substitute materials with lower performance than the original materials or parts that do not meet the original specifications must not be used. During assembly, all parts should be installed in their original positions without omission.
