How to connect the UPS power supply battery

2026-04-06 05:13:34 · · #1

1. The red terminal is the positive terminal, and the black terminal is the negative terminal. The batteries are connected in series in the battery box, meaning that the positive terminal of one battery is connected to the negative terminal of another battery.

2. Following this connection method, you will eventually have one positive and one negative lead left. Connect these to the battery discharge port, making sure they correspond one by one. Generally, the left is positive and the right is negative. Be careful not to short-circuit the battery when connecting.

3. Water entering the battery in a short period of time will not affect the battery function. Water is a weak electrolyte with very weak conductivity. However, it must be dried immediately, otherwise it will oxidize the electrode, causing the battery electrode to fall off and damage the battery.

4. Replace battery cables by purchasing raw materials from the original company's service station or distributor to prevent overheating or fire caused by insufficient capacity.

5. Do not use fire to handle the battery or battery pack, otherwise it may explode and injure people. Do not damage or open the battery. The electrolyte that overflows from the battery is highly toxic and harmful to the human body. Prevent the positive and negative terminals of the battery from short-circuiting, otherwise it may cause a fire or motor damage.

Precautions for connecting UPS batteries:

Before handling the item, remove any metal items such as rings and watches.

Replacement battery cables should ideally be purchased from the original manufacturer's service station or distributor to prevent overheating or fire caused by insufficient capacity.

Do not use fire to handle batteries or battery packs, as this could cause an explosion and injure people.

Do not damage or open the battery. The electrolyte that leaks from the battery is highly toxic and harmful to the human body.

Prevent short circuits between the positive and negative terminals of the battery, otherwise it may cause a fire or damage to the motor.

Before touching the battery, check for voltage. The battery circuit is not isolated from the input voltage circuit, posing a high-voltage hazard between the battery terminals and ground.
