Shenzhen Youdi Technology Co., Ltd., established in March 2013, is a service robot mobile platform solution provider. It is a Shenzhen High-tech Enterprise and a National High-tech Enterprise, as well as a dual-software certified enterprise.

Currently, Youdi Technology has four products: the general-purpose robot chassis has functions such as autonomous path planning, walking control, autonomous obstacle avoidance, autonomous charging, and elevator control; Youxiaomei uses LiDAR navigation, can autonomously plan paths and avoid obstacles, can autonomously take elevators and charge itself, and flexibly complete tasks such as intelligent positioning and transportation; Youxiaodi has a larger storage cabinet space, can transport more items at once, does not require the laying of guide rails, and has a mature multi-position circulation function, allowing multiple robots to move quickly in complex commercial places and complete delivery work quickly; the outdoor delivery robot mainly undertakes short-distance instant delivery within 3 kilometers for food delivery companies, replacing couriers and food delivery personnel to complete delivery and notification work in closed areas.

In 2013, UDI Technology was officially established and received angel round investment from UTStarcom.

In 2014, it became an NVIDIA partner, providing autonomous driving platform solutions to numerous customers;

In 2016, the company launched its first-generation indoor robot, "You Xiaomei," completed a tens of millions RMB Series A financing round, and won the award for the most investable company in the robotics industry.

In 2017, Youdi Robotics officially entered the building delivery field and partnered with Meituan to launch its second-generation indoor robot, "You Xiaodi," which won the CITE2017 Innovative Product and Application Award and was named one of the Top Ten Technological Innovation Products of Service Robots in China.

In 2018, the company completed a tens of millions RMB Series B financing round, launched the outdoor delivery robot "You Xiaoge", and shipped more than 600 indoor robots. It also won the Annual Innovation Enterprise Award in the Artificial Intelligence Industry and the Annual Shenzhen Robotics Technology Innovation Enterprise Award.

In 2019, the outdoor vehicle began road testing in the park at the beginning of the year; production capacity increased significantly, costs decreased rapidly, the second-generation robot began mass production, and the company won the CITE2019 Innovation Enterprise Award.

UDI Technology's entire mechanical structure is based on independent intellectual property rights. Adaptive software and hardware are selected and integrated into various scenario-specific systems, accumulating extensive development experience and serving numerous well-known high-tech enterprises. The robot utilizes multi-sensor fusion for precise positioning and navigation, autonomously completing mapping, localization (multi-sensor fusion), navigation (lane line tracking), and obstacle avoidance. It possesses multiple capabilities including motion control, PID control, assembly precision, and visual calibration. Furthermore, a powerful cloud control platform enables information collection, remote diagnostics, and central control.

Application Scenarios—Indoor

KTV

Since Pure K pioneered the introduction of Youdi Robot—Youxiaomei, which is responsible for greeting guests, guiding customers, and delivering food in its stores, hundreds of KTV chain brands, including Yinledi, Haoledi, Huanledi, Royal Party, Manhattan Concert, Prince and Princess Adventure, Changxiang Kingdom, and Xiju, have also successively purchased Youxiaomei service robots and placed additional orders in their branches across the country, laying out a new "artificial intelligence + KTV" operation model.

For businesses, robots can effectively replace human labor, freeing waiters from simple, repetitive tasks and saving costs to some extent. In stores where robots are "on duty," where four waiters were originally needed to greet and seat customers at the entrance, only two are now required. The other two waiters can be reassigned to provide services in guest rooms, effectively reducing the number of waiters by one to two, saving businesses approximately 180,000 yuan in labor costs annually.

Moreover, the robot requires no management training, can work "from start to finish", and can work for 7-12 hours on a full charge, twice the working hours of a waiter. When there are many customers in the store, it can also take on the task of running errands, delivering drinks and other items to customers. Each delivery takes an average of 3 minutes and it can walk 10-20 kilometers a day, making it a truly "excellent employee".

For customers, upon arriving at the store, they will immediately receive a greeting from the robot: "Hello, welcome to our store."

After receiving instructions from the staff, the robot will take the customer to the reserved private room. If someone blocks its way, it will make a voice prompt saying, "Handsome guy or beautiful lady in front, please move aside." The cute tone encourages customers to deliberately block the way to tease it, adding another layer of fun to the store.

On the way to the private room, it will thoughtfully remind you of the location of the restroom, so you no longer have to worry about getting lost in the KTV. It will greet you and lead the way, interact with you in a cute voice, and even serve drinks. Customers' goodwill towards the robot increases rapidly, which also enhances the image of the store.

hotel

In the past two years, with the upgrading of consumption, consumers have been pursuing higher quality and service experiences. The simple accommodation function of hotels can no longer meet the needs of consumers, so intelligent hotels such as "smart hotels", "eco-hotels" and "future hotels" have emerged. As a representative of artificial intelligence, Youdi Robot has been officially put into service in hotels.

The main functions of the robot in the hotel are as follows:

Greeting: After the system is connected to the hotel's room system, the camera will scan the guest's figure and will proactively greet the guest, talk to the guest, and escort the guest to the elevator.

Guiding guests: Hotels are generally high-rise buildings with many rooms. By simply clicking on the control panel or telling the robot the room number, the robot can immediately guide guests upstairs, leaving guests with a convenient and intelligent check-in experience.

Hotel Item Delivery: After a guest calls room service to request additional hotel items, hotel staff places the items in the robot's storage compartment. The robot then autonomously takes the elevator to the room door and proactively calls the guest's room to notify them to open the door and retrieve the items, effectively ensuring guest safety and privacy.

Food delivery: Hotel guests order takeout but can't come down to pick it up, and delivery personnel can't deliver it upstairs. That's where robots come in! Youdi Robots has partnered with food delivery platforms. The delivery person scans a code to open the storage box behind me, puts the takeout inside, selects the specific room number, and the robot can autonomously take the elevator to the corresponding room door, then automatically send a message to the guest, notifying them to pick up the food with the received verification code.

Application scenario - Outdoor

Youdi Technology's outdoor delivery robots primarily handle short-distance, on-demand deliveries within 3 kilometers for courier and food delivery companies, replacing delivery personnel in closed areas for delivery and notification tasks. Youdi's outdoor robots utilize multi-sensor SLAM global positioning and navigation technology, perception technology, and machine vision to achieve their walking technology. AI algorithms predict pedestrian routes, and scheduling and management are handled in a cloud-based backend. Currently, the outdoor robots have completed basic and road tests and will undergo 5G deployment testing in the middle of the year.

UDI Technology is one of the earliest companies in the industry to achieve mass production and commercialization of unmanned driving equipment. Its own-brand robots have been deployed in more than 50 cities across China, and are widely used in hotels, office buildings, restaurants, KTVs, and other commercial venues, providing guidance, delivery, and other services to an average of over 40,000 people per day. UDI Technology has also leveraged its mature technology to provide robot mobility solutions to numerous companies in the industry.

UDI Technology is committed to promoting the commercial application of autonomous driving technology in the last three kilometers to indoor last-mile delivery, and providing reliable and stable mobile robot platform solutions for global customers.
