Hirose has developed a versatile wire-to-board connector that enables OEMs to reduce the size of end devices. As part of the SignalBee connector family, the 2.0mm pitch DF51 series connectors feature a user-friendly front locking mechanism that provides a crisp click and ensures a reliable connection. The dual-side locking design prevents receptacle lift caused by vibration or cable bending.
To meet a wide range of customer requirements, the DF51 series crimp connectors are available in various models, including linear, right-angle, and in-line connections, as well as single-row or dual-row configurations. Single-row versions offer 2 to 6 positions, while dual-row versions offer 4 to 30 positions. Visual and mechanical polarization features prevent reverse mating and incorrect mating between different numbers of positions. Gold-plating and tin-plating options support a variety of application needs. Furthermore, the DF52 wire-to-board connector is available with resin sealing to protect against water and dust.
The DF51 series supports power transmission up to 3A and is widely applicable to various products, including amusement equipment, industrial machinery, IT electronics, medical equipment, office equipment, robots, smart meters, water heaters, etc.

The UL/C-UL certified DF51 series uses universal terminals and crimping tools with DF11 series contacts. The connectors accept AWG#22AWG to #30 cables. These connectors can be filled to a minimum of 3mm.
The DF51 series wire-to-board power connectors are rated for 250VAC/DC and operate at temperatures from -40°C to +105°C.
