Inverter power supplies are a type of power supply that rectifies and reverses power . Regular inspections are crucial for the lifespan and overall condition of the power supply. However, we cannot inspect them blindly; we must inspect them according to specific criteria. Below is an introduction to the inspection items for a power supply:
1. Gas pipe connection inspection
The main checks include the airtightness of the pipeline, the matching of the gas type and rated pressure, and the gas supply capacity.
2. Check the exhaust system
Check the compatibility of the air supply and exhaust conditions at the equipment installation site with the instruction manual and nameplate, and check the air supply and exhaust functions and reliability.
3. Inspect water pipe connections
Check the water supply pressure; its value must not exceed the equipment's nominal pressure, generally within the range of 0.03-0.6 MPa. The operating pressure of the heating system should be within the range of 0.15-0.20 MPa. Also check the system's water tightness and the function of the safety valve.
4. Checking the power supply polarity and voltage
① Check the power supply voltage: 220V±10%. Check that the power socket is "left neutral, right phase and top ground". Also check whether the connection between the equipment's grounding terminal and the grounding wire is reliable.
② Use a single-phase three-hole socket. Connect the right hole to the live wire, the left hole to the neutral wire, and the ground wire to the top hole. The installation should follow the "left neutral, right live, and top ground" configuration. Also, check whether the connection between the equipment's grounding terminal and the grounding wire is reliable.
③ Check whether the power supply used is consistent with the power supply voltage marked on the furnace, and check whether the polarity of the equipment power plug is in accordance with the requirements. In a low-voltage power supply system, the phase wire (L) is brown, the neutral wire (N) is blue, and the ground wire (F) is yellow-green.
5. General operating procedures for water injection, drainage, and emptying of the system:
Operate the inverter according to the procedures specified in the instruction manual. Check it thoroughly, leaving no stone unturned. Remember that serious problems are often caused by seemingly insignificant issues. Regular inspection and maintenance will ensure the power supply retains its original function, improves efficiency, and extends its service life.
An inverter power supply uses thyristor circuits to convert direct current into alternating current. Regular inspection and maintenance are essential to ensure everything is in perfect working order. Like anything else, regular inspection and maintenance are crucial to maintaining the power supply's original performance, improving operating efficiency, and extending its service life.
