Torque Knurled Knob
Torque knurled knob / torque knurled knob with screw GN 3663 is used in situations where manual torque application is limited.
Application Video
When rotated clockwise, once a certain torque is reached, the knurled knob's torque mechanism is triggered, causing it to "disengage." When rotated counterclockwise, the mechanism locks, and the torque is unrestricted.
This ensures that the maximum allowable tightening torque is not exceeded when tightening the knob, while the torque necessary to loosen the knob is reliably transmitted.
Adjustable torque limit knob
The adjustable torque limit knob MZD is used to prevent tightening torque from exceeding a specific value.
Application Video
When assembling the MZD knob , screw it clockwise until locked, then loosen it from the clamping element (hub or screw) to achieve the desired torque value.
Torque is transmitted from the knob to the clamping element via a spring system to prevent exceeding the set torque value. Rotating counterclockwise unlocks the knob.
After 60,000 tightening operations, the torque value remained unchanged.
