In recent years, with the increasing automation of enterprise production and the rise in labor costs, enterprises are demanding higher levels of automation in production lines, particularly packaging and palletizing lines. The application of palletizing robots in this field is also gradually expanding. Industrial palletizing robots are typical mechatronics high-tech products. Their application not only improves production efficiency and reduces human resource costs but also improves workers' working conditions. The quantity and quality of their application indicate the advanced level of enterprise production automation.

A palletizing robot is a mechatronic production equipment that mimics human operation, is automatically controlled, reprogrammable, and capable of performing various prescribed tasks in three-dimensional space. It mainly consists of a mechanical body, servo drive system, arm mechanism, end effector, end effector attitude adjustment mechanism, and detection mechanism. It can perform palletizing operations on different types of material packaging by setting parameters according to different material packaging, stacking sequence, and layer requirements.

Key technical features of palletizing robots:

The palletizing robot has four degrees of freedom: the two joints of the arm move linearly along the vertical and horizontal axes, and the mechanical body and gripper rotate around their respective axes of rotation.

The arm adopts a parallelogram linkage mechanism, driven by a servo motor through pulleys, synchronous belts, ball screws, and linear guides. It also employs an end effector attitude adjustment mechanism to enable the end effector to achieve uncoupled linear motion on the vertical and horizontal axes.

The mechanical body is used to support the arm mechanism and its drive mechanism. The mechanical body is mounted on a cross roller bearing and driven by a servo motor through a precision cycloidal reducer to realize the palletizing robot's rotation operation in the horizontal plane.

The wrist rotation is driven by a servo motor through a precision cycloidal reducer.

The robotic arm is flexible and can use different grippers depending on the packaging form of different materials.

The robotic palletizer can palletize approximately 1000 bags per hour, with dual grippers reaching up to 1200 bags per hour. It boasts stable performance, a low failure rate, and continuous operation, significantly increasing work efficiency and production output. It also saves considerable manpower, reducing labor costs. Under normal maintenance, this robot can operate for at least ten years. With the rise of large-scale, fully automated palletizing production lines, this palletizing system will have an even broader market prospect and development potential !
