Status monitoring
Leveraging advanced sensor technology, intelligent field devices, and wireless transmission, condition monitoring can be continuous and can be performed from virtually anywhere. Based on the collected data, the system can indicate impending failures at an early stage. Therefore, reliable condition monitoring is indispensable for predictive maintenance.
Easy integration
Simplify your plant's condition monitoring with Turck products, ranging from rugged sensors to system solutions that support flexible cloud-based monitoring. Whether building a new system or upgrading a solution in an existing environment, all devices can be easily integrated into existing automation systems. Alternatively, distributed, standalone systems can be used to monitor critical condition data without impacting the main control unit.
High-efficiency monitoring of control cabinet
The IMX12-CCM (Control Cabinet Environmental Condition Monitoring) is a control cabinet protection module. The CCM can be installed or retrofitted into almost any control cabinet and enclosure for continuous monitoring of the actual protection level. This rail-mounted device uses simple on/off signals to indicate to the control system any cabinet door closure failures, or conditions where temperature and internal humidity exceed limits.
The IMX12-CCM is 12mm wide and features an intrinsically safe two-wire isolated transmitter interface, making it suitable for use in explosion-hazardous areas. The teaching process is very simple and can be performed directly on the device without a computer or any other tools. The IMX12-CCM also provides a standard HART interface for additional diagnostic options, such as reading absolute measurements.
Wireless signal transmission
When appropriate technologies such as IO-Link, multi-protocol Ethernet, wireless signal transmission, or cloud solutions are used , condition monitoring can be implemented practically and reliably.
Need to check readings from hard-to-access machines? Or want to avoid wasting time on complicated wiring? You can use the DX80 wireless system to wirelessly transmit field status data via a proprietary wireless network. Many sensors in the Turck product range can be seamlessly integrated into the transmitter module, and it can operate on battery power as needed.
Distributed intelligent control
ARGEE is a programming environment developed by TURCK for use in multi-protocol block I/O products to achieve logic control functions. This feature allows standard I/O modules to be endowed with the intelligent capabilities of a field logic controller. Version V3 offers significant upgrades and updates in both the programming environment and overall functionality .
By working in conjunction with the TURCK multiprotocol Ethernet block I/O module, ARGEE has exemplified the advanced controller concept. For OEM customers and equipment manufacturers looking to expand system functionality by adding control logic, the Field Logic Controller (FLC) can achieve this without modifying existing PLC programs.
cloud solutions
24/7 monitoring of status data from any terminal device, configuration of personalized control panels, and automatic reception of critical data — all of this can be accomplished through the Turck Cloud solution. The TCG20 cloud gateway can encrypt data and send it to Turck Cloud or online services such as Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure . Furthermore, Turck Cloud can also be hosted directly on the company's own servers (at the customer's location).
Multiprotocol Ethernet
Turck's I/O modules can be used in parallel across different Ethernet protocols, enabling condition monitoring independently of periodic process communications. For example, measurement data can be transmitted to the main control unit via PROFINET , while condition data can be sent aperiodically to another PLC via Modbus TCP .
