Automated scanning and inspection of objects is a trend in modern industrial development. Traditional 3D inspection generally uses a handheld 3D scanner to scan the appearance of the object being inspected. In addition to requiring the physical fitness of the inspector, it is also limited by the inspection speed.
To address this application requirement, Linghou employs a six-axis LR4-R560 robotic arm paired with a 3D measurement system, enabling the 3D measurement system, fixed or mounted on the robot's end effector, to perform online measurements. Automated 3D measurement technology not only provides real-time detection and feedback, better guiding production and reducing unnecessary waste, but also eliminates the need for manual intervention during batch testing, allowing for one-click start and offline programming.   Operators can quickly get started without any experience, completely freeing up manpower in the testing process.
