In the previous video, we learned how to make RC series cables.
Today, we will guide you through learning " How to remove pins from RC series wire connectors " .
First, let's understand the connection principle of connectors.
Taking " motor power output cable " as an example, after the connector terminal is inserted into the " motor power output cable connector " , the spring claw inside the connector will automatically abut against the connector terminal and lock it.
Therefore, we must use a professional pin removal tool – a " pin remover " – to lift the clamping claws that hold the terminal in place, thereby achieving perfect pin removal.
"1-353715-2" terminal pin retraction
The following three types of cables in the RC series use "1-353715-2" type terminals .
○ Motor power output cable
○ Power input cable
○ Control power input cable
The specific needle removal process is as follows:
Insert the " pin ejector " into the " wire connector " (using the " motor power output wire connector " as an example) with the orientation shown in the diagram below.
1. Confirm connector orientation
2. Confirm the direction of the needle ejector.
Insert the " pin ejector " into the connector as shown in the diagram above . The front end of the " pin ejector " will push up the locking claw to " unlock " the connector, allowing the terminal to be ejected.
3. Needle removal process
"1827570-2" terminal pin retraction
The other three types of cables in the RC series use the "1827570-2" type terminal .
○ Motor brake output cable
○ Module control I/O cables
○ Encoder cable
The specific needle removal process is basically the same as that of the "1-353715-2" type terminal .
1. Confirm connector orientation
2. Confirm the direction of the needle ejector.
3. Needle removal process
That concludes today's technical sharing.
