There are certain techniques involved in using a speed reducer . Proper installation and use of a speed reducer can greatly extend its service life. Generally, by following these points, you can appropriately extend the service life of the speed reducer.
1. The first oil change should be performed after 200-300 hours of operation . During subsequent use, the oil quality should be checked regularly, and any oil contaminated with impurities or deteriorated must be replaced immediately. Generally, for gearboxes that operate continuously for extended periods, the oil should be changed every 5000 hours or annually. For gearboxes that have been out of service for a long time, the oil should also be changed before restarting. The gearbox should be filled with the same brand of oil as before; it must not be mixed with oils of different brands. Oils of the same brand but different viscosities may be mixed.
2. During operation, if the oil temperature rises above 80 ℃ or the oil sump temperature exceeds 100 ℃, or if abnormal noise is generated, the operation should be stopped, the cause should be checked, the fault must be eliminated, and the lubricating oil should be replaced before the operation can continue.
3. Users should have reasonable rules and regulations for use and maintenance, and should keep careful records of the operation of the reducer and the problems found during inspection. The above regulations should be strictly followed.
4. When changing the oil, wait until the reducer has cooled down to a point where there is no risk of combustion, but it should still be kept warm. This is because once completely cooled, the oil viscosity increases, making draining difficult. Caution: Disconnect the power supply to the transmission device to prevent accidental energization!
