ABB Inverter Parameter Adjustment Steps
1. Press the MENU key to enter the menu selection bar, use the up and down arrow keys to select the PAR item, and press the ENTER key to enter the parameter selection menu;
2. Use the up and down arrow keys to adjust the first two digits of the parameter to 99 ;
3. Press the ENTER key to adjust the last two digits of the parameter;
4. Use the up and down arrow keys to adjust the last two digits of the parameter to 02 , then press the ENTER key twice;
5. Set parameter 9902 (applied macro) to 1 (standard macro), and press the OK button to exit (the last two digits of the parameter will be displayed at this time);
6. Adjust the last two digits of the parameter to 05 (the parameter will now be 9905 );
7. Use the up and down keys to set parameter 9905 (motor rated voltage V ) to 380 , then press ENTER to exit;
8. Using the same method, adjust parameter 9906 (motor rated current A ) to 3.7 , then press ENTER to exit;
9. Using the same method, adjust parameter 9907 (motor rated frequency Hz ) to 50 , then press ENTER to exit;
10. Using the same method, adjust parameter 9908 (motor rated speed r/min ) to 1440 , then press ENTER to exit;
11. Using the same method, adjust parameter 9909 (motor rated power kW ) to 1.5 , then press ENTER to exit;
12. Using the same method, adjust parameter 9910 (motor rated power factor) to 0.82 , then press ENTER to exit;
The above parameters are based on the motor nameplate.
13. Press the ENTER key again ( the first two digits of the parameter will now be displayed ) ;
14. Use the up and down arrow keys to adjust the first two digits of the parameter to 10 ;
15. Press the ENTER key to adjust the last two digits of the parameter;
16. Use the up and down arrow keys to adjust the last two digits of the parameter to 03 , and then press the ENTER key;
17. At this point, the data displayed is parameter 1003. Use the up and down keys to set parameter 1003 to 1 (motor direction), and press the ENTER key to exit.
18. Using the same method, set parameter 1001 to 1 ( 2- line connection), and press ENTER to exit;
19. Using the same method, set parameter 1201 to 0 (disable constant speed operation function menu of frequency converter), and press ENTER to exit;
20. Using the same method, adjust parameter 1401 to 1 (the relay 1 operates when the frequency converter is ready), and press ENTER to exit;
