1. Rack-mounted installation method
Industrial switch chassis can be fixed to a rack using brackets. Generally, two L-shaped mounting ears are pre-installed at the factory. The installation method is as follows:
1) Generally, a standard chassis is used, which means a standard mounting rack is required;
2. Installation method of laying flat on the table
Industrial switches can be placed directly on a smooth, flat, and safe desktop. The working environment should have sufficient space to ensure proper ventilation and heat dissipation. However, the following two points should be noted:
1) Ensure there is at least 3cm-5cm of space around the switch, and do not place heavy objects on the switch;
2) Ensure that the physical surface of the switch can withstand a weight of more than 3kg.
3. Wall-mounted installation
Switches are commonly installed in industrial field applications. Installation instructions are as follows:
1) First, use a screwdriver to remove all four screws at screw positions 1 and 3. Whether to remove the screw at screw position 2 depends on the available installation space (it is recommended to leave it if there is enough space).
2) Then rotate the removed wall-mounted ears 180°, align them with the screw holes, and secure them a second time. Loose or stripped screws can cause fatal damage to the equipment, so please check that the screws are properly secured.
3) Then fix it in place using the pre-drilled holes on the wall-mounting ears.
4. DIN rail mounting
Most industrial switches use standard DIN rail mounting, which is very convenient for most industrial applications. The installation steps are as follows:
1) First, check if you have the necessary DIN rail installation tools and accessories, and ensure everything is in good working order;
2) Then adjust the product to the correct installation orientation, that is, the power terminal should be facing upwards;
3) First, snap the upper part of the product guide rail clip (the part with the snap ring) onto the guide rail, then apply slight force to snap the lower part into the guide rail;
4) After inserting the DIN rail clip into the rail, check and confirm that the product is reliably and evenly fixed on the DIN rail.
