The Sinamics V20 Smart Access module enables customers in various industries to access Sinamics V20 frequency converters via a variety of mobile devices. Thanks to its built-in web server, no additional software installation is required; existing web browsers can be used directly. Therefore, customers can freely choose their wireless devices. The Sinamics V20 Smart Access module allows direct performance of functions such as commissioning, setting or modifying parameters, monitoring inverter status, running motors, troubleshooting, and backing up or restoring settings. Settings from one inverter can be downloaded and sent to other mobile devices. By installing the smart access module on different drives, users can use their smartphones as control panels to commission and operate different drives. Quick and easy commissioning and parameter setting are achieved through convenient access and an intuitive user interface. Furthermore, this tool provides users with alerts after fault alarms and allows for parameter modification at any time.
