Working principle of palletizing robots
The workpieces on the flatbed meet the requirements of the pallet. The flatbed and workpieces move forward until they reach the vertical surface of the pallet. The upper stop bar descends, and the other three positioning stops activate to clamp the workpieces, at which point the flatbed returns to its original position. Each workpiece descends to the pallet plane, with the pallet plane 10mm away from the bottom of the flatbed. The pallet then descends by the height of one workpiece. This process is repeated until the pallet is stacked to the set requirements. The palletizing robot is equipped with a specially designed multi-functional gripper that can firmly grip and transport packaging boxes regardless of their size or weight using vacuum suction cups.
Features of palletizing robots
1. Simple structure and few parts. Therefore, the failure rate of parts is low, the performance is reliable, maintenance is simple, and fewer spare parts are required.
2. Small footprint. This facilitates the layout of production lines in the customer's factory and allows for a larger warehouse area. Palletizing robots can be effectively used even in narrow spaces.
3. High adaptability. When the size, volume, shape, or pallet dimensions of a customer's product change, only minor modifications need to be made on the touchscreen, without affecting the customer's normal production. In contrast, changes to mechanical palletizers are quite cumbersome or even impossible.
4. Low energy consumption. A typical mechanical palletizer has a power consumption of around 26KW, while a palletizing robot has a power consumption of around 5KW. This significantly reduces the customer's operating costs.
5. All controls can be operated on the control cabinet screen, making operation very simple.
6. The teaching method is simple and easy to understand; you only need to locate the starting point and placement point.
The palletizing robot system utilizes patented coordinate-type robot technology, allowing for flexible and compact installation. This makes the vision of building a highly efficient and energy-saving fully automated block molding production line within a relatively small footprint a reality. With the continuous development of my country's economy and the rapid advancement of science and technology, robots are finding widespread application in industries such as palletizing, gluing, spot welding, arc welding, spraying, handling, and measurement.
