Routine maintenance of surface roughness testers is essential and plays a crucial role in their long-term use.
1. After turning on the machine each day, clean the marble workbench and marble columns with alcohol (anhydrous ethanol, 99.97%). Note: Do not wipe the drive box casing with alcohol, as the surface of the casing is painted and is prone to chemical reaction; wiping with alcohol will easily affect the appearance.
2. Pay attention to rust prevention of the T-slots, threaded rods of the columns, and column guide rails (the metal parts behind the columns) of the marble workbench. Cangzhou Oupu should apply rust-preventive oil regularly, especially during long holidays. Specific method: Spray WD40 on the above areas, wait five minutes, and then wipe off any excess WD40 with a lint-free paper towel.
3. When not in use, the Stylus probe should be removed and placed in a dedicated probe box.
4. The power supply voltage needs to be checked regularly. Please have a qualified maintenance professional assist with this. Specific methods include: checking if the voltage is between 110 and 240Vac; whether voltage fluctuations are within the allowable range; and verifying the correct phase sequence and voltage for the L-wire (live), N-wire (neutral), and E-wire (connector).
5. Does the external power supply have a UPS uninterruptible power supply protection device? (It must be installed) to prevent damage to the circuit boards, computer and electronic components inside the control box caused by peak voltage during power supply and sudden power failure.
6. Are the ambient temperature and humidity of the surface roughness tester within the allowable range?
Operating ambient temperature range: 15~30 degrees Celsius; allowable temperature gradient variation: less than 2 degrees Celsius (general environmental requirements, such as processing site).
Operating ambient temperature range: 18~22 degrees Celsius; allowable temperature gradient variation: less than 2 degrees Celsius (standard metrology room);
Humidity requirement: 45%~75%
