According to recent media reports, the Shenzhou-12 astronaut crew will conduct their second extravehicular activity (EVA) in the coming days. This will be the second EVA for the Shenzhou-12 astronauts, who have already successfully completed tasks such as managing the Tianhe core module assembly, operating the large robotic arm, and transferring cargo spacecraft supplies.
As early as April 29th this year, my country's space station core module was successfully launched. On May 16th, Tianzhou-2 was successfully transferred to the launch area. On May 18th, the Tianhe core module completed on-orbit testing and verification. The launch of the Tianzhou-2 cargo spacecraft, originally scheduled for May 20th, was postponed. The Shenzhou-12 spacecraft-rocket combination will finally be transferred to the launch area on June 10th, carrying three astronauts into space.
Since the successful launch of Shenzhou-12 on June 17, when the three astronauts entered the Tianhe core module, these three astronauts have become the first "residents" of the Tianhe core module of the space station, and have carried out various tasks as planned, successfully completing 14 medical aerospace projects.
With only one month left until the Shenzhou-12 manned spacecraft's time in orbit, we hope that the Shenzhou-12 astronauts will successfully complete their mission for the motherland and return safely to the motherland.
