1 Introduction
In industrial settings, server racks operate under harsh conditions such as vibration, dust, and extreme cold or heat, performing vital functions such as transmitting signals, controlling data, and distributing power. Therefore, it is crucial for users to independently design and configure racks according to their specific industry needs, and to consider long-term efficiency improvements and potential optimization during rack assembly.
Since its inception in 1948, Weidmüller, the industrial connectivity expert, has pioneered the Klippon® Connect terminal block series, a solution that has evolved over 70 years and become synonymous with comprehensive range, mature technology, and a stellar reputation. Klippon® Connect terminal blocks are now divided into two main categories: application-specific and general-purpose, removing many obstacles to rack mounting for users, as shown in Figure 1.
