Solar cell modules, also known as solar panels or photovoltaic modules, are the core and most important component of a solar power generation system. Their function is to convert solar energy into electrical energy, which is then either stored in batteries or used to power loads. The quality and cost of the solar cell modules directly determine the quality and cost of the entire system.

A solar cell module consists of high-efficiency monocrystalline/polycrystalline solar cells, low-iron ultra-white tempered glass, encapsulation materials (EVA, POE, etc.), a functional backsheet, interconnect strips, busbars, a junction box, and an aluminum alloy frame.
