L7 General Purpose AC Servo System
The L7 general-purpose AC servo system is the result of seventeen years of research and development and seven generations of upgrades by Leadshine Intelligent. It includes three communication types: EtherCAT bus, RS485, and pulse.
Since its launch, the L7 series has been widely used and highly praised in automation equipment in industries such as electronics manufacturing, lasers, engraving, injection molding robots, machine tools, logistics, textiles, medical, and new energy, thanks to its high performance, high quality, high stability, and ease of use.
To help you easily connect and debug your L7EC series PLC with mainstream master stations such as Omron, Keyence, Beckhoff, and Leadshine, we will be providing a series of training sessions. This session will introduce the key connection steps with Leadshine PLC master stations:
Part 01: Create a new project and configure driver parameters
Open the software, create a new project, and select the corresponding PLC version and programming language.
Click "PMC600", then click "Scan Network" on the corresponding main interface to establish a communication connection between the PLC and the programming software. Click "PMC Controller Information" to read the PLC IP address or set a new IP address. Click "Tools", select the device repository, import the ESI file, and the controller will be able to recognize the corresponding driver.
Click "Network" to open the system configuration page. Select the corresponding driver based on its actual configuration. After selecting the driver, configure the PDO: check "Enable Expert Settings" on the General page, and then configure the PDO on the Expert Process Data page. You can add or delete PDOs as needed. Click "Compile," and then send the corresponding configuration to the PLC.
Part 02, Simple Driver Operation
Add the CIA402 axis under the servo axis, and configure the axis motion parameters on this page.
Open the main program page, write the enable module and JOG module, compile the program, send the program to the PLC, click start, in the enable function block, set the corresponding parameter to 1 to enable the driver, in the JOG function block, set the forward or reverse rotation parameter to 1 to achieve forward or reverse rotation.
That concludes this video segment. Stay tuned for more great video tutorials.
Leisai Intelligent's "Video Classroom" will continue. Feel free to leave a message at the end of this article to let us know your needs for training courses, and we will arrange for the courses you need to be launched online as soon as possible.
