Continuous temperature and humidity monitoring in the storage room
In many food storage environments, temperature and humidity values must be kept constant within specific limits. Manually checking and recording these data can be very time-consuming, especially for large storage areas with numerous different measurement points.
The M12MFTH temperature and humidity sensor transmits data to a DX80 wireless gateway within the switch cabinet via a battery-powered DX80 node. The data then continues to be transmitted via Modbus RTU to the Turck Cloud gateway (TCG20), which then transmits it to the Turck Cloud via Wi-Fi or UMTS. Because of the wireless connection, this process bypasses relevant network access barriers by eliminating the need for access to the corporate network.

Data is sent from TCG20 to the cloud via the encrypted Kolibri cloud protocol, meeting most stringent security requirements (encrypted data transmission conforms to TLS 1.3, AES128/AES256). Turck cloud solutions can be hosted in Turck data centers or on the customer's own servers, thus enabling private cloud solutions without an internet connection.
The cloud control panel clearly displays data from all sensors. No programming knowledge is required to set up views or configure automatic SMS or email alerts – Turck's philosophy is "configuration, not programming." Anyone familiar with standard PC software operation can configure long-term trend recording or create reports in CSV file format.
