Technological advancements and productivity transformations have occurred at an extremely rapid pace over the past century. Robots have transformed from fantasy into reality, entering every corner of life and becoming reliable partners for humanity, bringing light and hope.

As the 21st century dawned, the emergence of human-robot collaboration technology gradually eliminated the gap between humans and robots, enabling them to interact and work together at a closer distance.

With the mission of "serving the people with robotics technology", Han's Robotics, together with its partners, develops and applies collaborative robots to puncture surgery in the medical field, effectively assisting doctors in their operations and significantly improving surgical outcomes.

A biopsy is a medical procedure in which a needle is inserted into human tissue to extract a sample from a lesion, inject medication, and ablate the lesion. Biopsies are widely used in clinical practice, as precise needle placement is required to extract biopsy tissue from various parts of the body.

From a technical perspective, the control of a surgical robot requires the use of a surgical navigation system, an optical locator, and an optical recognition tool with markers to determine the relative position of the puncture needle held by the robotic arm to the CT scan image, thereby controlling the robotic arm to bring the puncture needle to the target point.

Therefore, from the perspective of current applications in the medical field, lightweight and safe collaborative robots have significant advantages in practical applications.

01. Enhanced security

Major surgeries are life-threatening for patients, which places higher demands on the safety of robots: they must stop immediately in the event of a collision; and their operating speed must be reduced when they come into contact with other robots.

The innovative brake design of the Dazhu collaborative robot automatically rebounds and stops when people or objects approach; in addition, the robot will lock immediately when it encounters a sudden power outage or emergency stop, without any slippage or downward trend, and will not move an inch. These technological safeguards fundamentally ensure the safety of the surgery.

02. More efficient operation

With the assistance of intelligent control algorithms, the Han's Robot can perform its operations strictly in accordance with the standard surgical procedures; optical positioning can further reduce the risk of errors by the surgeon, improve puncture accuracy, and achieve precise puncture for the patient.

Precision also means efficiency. Human-machine collaboration enables more doctors to complete puncture procedures efficiently, reduce puncture time, alleviate patient pain, and reduce the duration of doctor-patient contact, thereby reducing the risk of cross-infection.
