The integration of operating voltage, power supply, and medical devices can meet the requirements of industrial applications. A balanced intelligent management system for lithium-ion battery packs can effectively test, maintain, balance energy, and alert on the battery pack, improving the overall efficiency and lifespan of the entire battery pack. Lithium-ion battery pack balancing technology can solve this problem, thereby improving the performance of the lithium-ion battery pack. Based on the basic adjustment of battery balancing, the battery mismatch problem can be solved. Balance is only necessary during the charging process and in practice; battery mismatch must be balanced during the charging process.

Currently, the key technologies for balancing common lithium-ion battery packs include passive energy dissipation, battery charging balancing, and active balancing. From the perspectives of development difficulty, cost, balancing efficiency, and power utilization, passive balancing is the easiest to develop, has the lowest cost, and the balancing current is not large, generally within the 100mA range. It has low balancing efficiency, zero power utilization, and the balancing current can reach the ampere level, resulting in high balancing efficiency. Active balancing is more complex, has higher cost, and the maximum balancing current can reach the ampere level, balancing efficiency, and maximum power utilization.
