With the successful commissioning of the 100-megawatt battery energy storage power station in Zhenjiang, Jiangsu Province, the energy storage battery, as a super-large capacity "power bank" in the city, is fully charged when the electricity load is low during the off-peak hours and releases electricity as a power generation source during the peak hours, effectively filling the power gap and ensuring the electricity supply for daily life to the greatest extent.
The Sanyue Energy Storage Power Station, located in Yangzhong City, is one of the eight distributed power stations of the Zhenjiang 100 MW Energy Storage Power Station. The power station has a scale of 10MW/20MWh and is entirely equipped with prefabricated modular cabins designed by Tianjin Tuoxin Energy Storage Equipment Technology Co., Ltd. This is another masterpiece of the company after the Gansu Power Company's 863 project, and has become a highlight of the Zhenjiang 100 MW-level energy storage power station.
The modular shelter boasts an aesthetically pleasing appearance, high reliability, and dimensions similar to a shipping container. However, all surfaces are constructed from single panels, primarily using fiberglass, and are manufactured employing advanced processes and materials. Compared to shipping containers, it offers superior corrosion resistance, aging resistance, heat insulation, and flame retardancy. Furthermore, the modular shelter is highly repairable, lightweight yet strong, and has a lower overall cost. It is suitable for ambient temperatures ranging from -41℃ to 50℃ and has a service life exceeding 25 years.
Compared with stainless steel and corrugated steel, fiberglass prefabricated cabins have significant advantages.
Energy storage batteries are highly sensitive to changes in the external environment. The modular enclosure provides a "safe haven" for the batteries throughout their entire life cycle. Even in the face of wind, rain, and sandstorms, it ensures the safe, reliable, efficient, and stable operation of the power station, guaranteeing uninterrupted power supply for residents.
