In using Huichuan servo drives, we encountered many similar situations, many of which are common servo applications such as lead screws, belts, and rotary tables. The main reason for these problems is that the Huichuan servo load inertia ratio parameter H is set to 10⁸-15 by default. The automatic adjustment function is not enabled by default. How do I import the Huichuan servo drive parameter settings?
Dizziness refers to the ability to automatically adjust parameters such as gain, inertia, and resonance suppression by changing the 0901 (stiffness level) parameter in the corresponding mode to meet the requirements of working conditions.
By default, Huichuan's latest servo oscillation mode 4 (auto-adjustment - normal mode) is enabled, avoiding the hassle of setting the inertia ratio and resonance suppression. Otherwise, the stun function and motor load might resonate, which can be quickly and automatically suppressed after the function is enabled. Similarly, without the stun function, the load motor may jitter or tail. With this function enabled, the inertia ratio gain parameter is automatically set, ensuring stable operation.
Improving the responsiveness of a servo system is very simple; just add parameter 0901 (stiffness level).
For quick positioning, set 0900 to mode 6 (auto-adjust - quick positioning mode).
In addition, Huichuan availability debugging also features a one-click self-tuning Etune function.
ETune (Easy-tune) refers to its simple and harmonious wizard-driven interface. After setting the appropriate curve trajectory and response requirements parameters under the wizard's guidance, the servo will automatically run and learn the optimal gain parameters. Once learned, the parameters can be saved and exported to formulas for copying and downloading the same model.
Generally speaking, Stune offers both rigidity and flexibility in single-parameter tuning; Etune offers one-click tuning and automatic optimization.
Furthermore, if iTunes waits for more features to be unlocked, iTunes' intelligent tuning will provide a stable response regardless of machine type and load fluctuations.
1. Load inertia ratio
What is the load-inertia ratio? For example, an ant can withstand a weight several times its own weight, while a rotary motor can drive a force several times its own inertia.
Inertia is a physical quantity. Linear motion corresponds to weight, and rotational motion corresponds to inertia. I won't repeat that here.
The load inertia ratio is defined as "the moment of inertia of the external machine / the moment of inertia of the motor itself".
The load inertia ratio is used to estimate the external load inertia, and the motor will adjust its output based on this parameter.
As shown in the figure above, when the load inertia ratio is not set properly, motor vibration and abnormal noise can easily occur.
2. Ability to follow instructions
Stiffness reflects the servo system's ability to follow commands. When a low-power motor is locked, with relatively low stiffness, the motor can be easily rotated by hand (the motor will immediately return to its original position); as stiffness increases, the motor locks and becomes difficult to tighten.
The stiffness level range of Huichuan servo is 0-41, the parameter number is H09-01, and the default value is 12.
When the inertial load is large, the stiffness rating can be reduced;
High-stiffness loads, such as lead screws, can improve stiffness levels.
Higher stiffness results in higher servo response, enabling rapid positioning in situations requiring frequent acceleration and deceleration, but it can also lead to servo jitter and abnormal noise.
3. Servo Adjustment
It includes position loop gain, speed loop gain, and rotational speed loop integral constant. For those unfamiliar with servo adjustment, parameter H09-00 can be set to allow the servo to automatically adjust these parameters. H09-00 sets a set of gains. The parameters of the first and second gain sets will be automatically set according to different stiffness levels.
