The narrow belt sorting machine consists of multiple narrow belts with equal spacing. The belts drive the goods to designated slots from left to right. The slots are equipped with buffer zones, which can flexibly sort items of various sizes, such as cartons, soft packaging, bag packaging, and envelopes, as well as fragile items such as beverage bottles.
The equipment has multi-compartment sorting capabilities, which can simultaneously meet the needs of multiple categories, multiple directions, and small footprint. Narrow strip sorting machine - working principle
Narrow strip sorting machines mainly consist of: a barcode scanning system, a narrow strip machine, a conveyor, and a bag collection compartment.
Package location is determined through a dual verification process using sensors and time. After the camera identifies the barcode, the host computer receives the data and assigns a warehouse number to the PLC. Upon receiving the information, the PLC waits for the sensor on the designated axis to receive a signal and determines whether the time corresponds to the warehouse number. If they match, the package is placed into the warehouse via a servo motor. After completing the sorting, the PLC sends the sorted barcode information back to the host computer, which then stores it in its database.
