Disadvantages of cylindrical lithium iron phosphate batteries:

1. Due to the limitations of the processing technology for welding multiple tabs in cylindrical lithium batteries, the rate capability is slightly weaker and the rate performance is not as outstanding.

2. The organic chemical properties at the corners of cylindrical batteries are relatively poor, and the battery performance deteriorates relatively significantly over long-term operation.

3. Poor compatibility with common batteries, because lithium-ion batteries can usually only replace common batteries when using three common batteries (3.6V).

4. It must have a unique protection circuit to prevent overcharging or over-discharging;

5. The cost is relatively high, mainly due to the high price of LiCOO2, the cathode material for batteries. However, with the continuous and rapid development of cathode technology, materials such as LiMn2O4 and LiFePO4 can be selected as cathodes, thus potentially significantly reducing the cost of lithium-ion batteries.
