Large rotary paper cutter
After the roll of raw paper is folded and sheeted into a long strip by the folding and sheeting machine, it is fed by the belt of the large rotary paper cutter. The blade holder drives the blade to rotate and cut vertically, cutting the long strip of paper into tissues of a set length. Then the discharge motor sends the cut tissues to the subsequent packaging process.

The control system of the large rotary paper cutter uses the Hexin CTMC series small motion controller M228SL as the main controller. It uses high-speed pulse control to operate two sets of A4S servo drive systems, with one A4 servo driving the feed belt and the other driving the output belt for conveying the paper. This achieves precise and rapid cutting of paper towels to a fixed length.
The conveyor belt drives the tissue paper along the set length until the cutter head rotates to the cutting angle to cut the tissue paper. After the cutter finishes cutting, the conveyor servo continues to drive the tissue paper along the set length, and the cutting cycle continues until the set number of tissue paper packs is completed.
Based on customer needs, the cutting process is divided into three parts: end trimming, tail trimming, and fixed-length trimming in the middle. (End trimming and tail trimming functions can be customized.)
1. Trimming the beginning and end: The purpose is to trim the rough edges of the tissue paper neatly. Precise control is required, so an interruption positioning method is used in conjunction with a high-performance servo for precise cutting to reduce waste.
2. Intermediate fixed-length cutting: CTMC's unique cam function makes the entire speed curve smoother, the machine runs more smoothly, and the machine's service life is extended.
