Against the backdrop of rapid development in automation technology, instrument control automation has become its main development direction. Through integration with automation control technology, the efficiency of instrument operation and control has been greatly improved, offering several intuitive technical advantages. Based on the production practices of petrochemical enterprises, the advantages of applying automation control technology in instrumentation include the following:
(1) Improve instrument monitoring efficiency. The combination of automation control technology and instruments forms automated instruments. When the corresponding program is input into the computer, the instrument will run according to the program. In this process, the computer acts as the center for monitoring and issuing instructions to the instrument. Through the powerful computing and storage capabilities of the computer, the detection rate of the instrument is greatly improved. The detection rate of the instrument is the most obvious advantage of automated instruments. Compared with traditional instruments, automated instruments can automatically detect the data that needs to be detected and complete the corresponding operations according to the automated program, thus greatly improving the detection rate.
(2) Improve the accuracy of instrument control. (3) Improved control and processing capabilities. Traditional instruments cannot detect complex engineering problems and can only monitor data. However, automated instruments, combined with automation and intelligent technologies and leveraging the powerful computing capabilities of computers, can complete complex engineering detection tasks. Automated instruments also perform well in systems with high control difficulty. Through the application of automation technology, automated instruments can effectively handle and control multiple complex tasks.
