1. Light sensor

Optical sensors can detect changes in light or voltage and then generate a corresponding voltage difference based on the change in light. Commonly used optical sensors in industrial robots include photovoltaic cells and photoresistors.

2. Torque sensor

Torque sensors can detect the forces applied by industrial robot arms and end effectors, providing the robot with tactile feedback. Typically, torque sensors in industrial robots are installed between the robot and the tool to monitor the forces applied by the robot to the tool.

3. Proximity sensor

Proximity sensors can detect objects without physical contact and are relatively simple to operate. Common proximity sensors consist of a transmitter emitting electromagnetic waves, and a receiver receiving and analyzing the signals reflected back from the object. Infrared transceivers are commonly used proximity sensors in industrial robots, which can identify obstacles and detect the presence of nearby objects by reflecting and capturing infrared beams.

4. Accelerometer

Accelerometers can measure acceleration and tilt by measuring both dynamic and static forces. By measuring these two forces, a robot can determine the acceleration required to move an object and its balance.
