How to properly install a temperature and humidity sensor?

First, we need to perform different operations depending on the different installation environments.

First, regarding the selection of the installation environment, we should choose a representative location, such as an area with significant temperature and humidity variations. Additionally, it should be kept away from magnetic fields, frequent vibrations, temperature dead zones, and areas where temperatures exceed 100 degrees Celsius. One important point to note is that the temperature and humidity sensor should be kept away from the inside of the container being measured, as this will affect measurement accuracy.

2. If it is necessary to insert it into the soil, the insertion depth must be calculated accurately. The insertion depth should not be less than 8-10 times the diameter of the temperature and humidity sensor's protective tube.

3. Choose the installation angle according to the environment. Under normal circumstances, we should try to place it vertically, which can effectively prevent the temperature and humidity sensor from deforming at high temperatures. If it is placed in a place with water flow, the temperature and humidity sensor needs to be tilted, usually between 30 and 45 degrees. When certain special environments require horizontal placement, a support bracket should be installed. In addition, the cable outlet of the junction box should face downward to prevent moisture, dirt, etc. from falling into the junction box.
