Disadvantages: Batteries store too little energy per unit weight. Also, because electric vehicle batteries are expensive and have not yet achieved economies of scale, the purchase price is high. As for usage costs, some trials have shown that they are more expensive than those for cars, while others have shown that they are only 1/3 the cost of cars. This mainly depends on the battery life and local oil and electricity prices.
