The same applies when buying mobile phones and laptops. Some people often shut down their laptops without charging them when the battery is low. 3. Lithium-ion batteries should not be overcharged or charged when the power is off.
Charge the battery before disconnecting the power to avoid damaging it. It's recommended to charge it within 2-3 hours; it doesn't necessarily need to be fully charged, but lithium-ion batteries should be fully charged. Additionally, it's important to discharge the battery approximately every 3-4 months. Lithium-ion battery manufacturers state that regardless of the brand or type of lithium-ion battery, overcharging over a prolonged period will damage the battery, and in severe cases, may even lead to explosion. Overcharging must be avoided when charging lithium-ion batteries; avoid excessive discharge and charging. However, after approximately 30 charging cycles, the power detection chip will automatically perform discharge and charge cycles, allowing for better evaluation of the battery's condition.
IV. The charging voltage should not exceed the maximum charging voltage, and the discharging voltage should not be lower than the minimum operating voltage.
Lithium-ion batteries must maintain a minimum operating voltage at all times. If the operating voltage is too low, automatic discharge will occur, which will significantly affect the activity of some components in the lithium ions, causing them to be damaged.
5. Avoid high temperatures during use.
When using this device, avoid high temperatures as much as possible; otherwise, minor issues may shorten its lifespan, and severe cases could lead to an explosion. Note that if the device is operating on AC power, the batteries should be removed.
