The DEKWELL EX-1140 is a CC-Link IE Field Basic bus adapter. The adapter module controls fieldbus communication, enabling communication with the master controller or host software.
This article will introduce the operation process of using the Deckerwell EX card-type I/O module and Mitsubishi PLC configuration application.

03. Install CSPP files
Open the GX-Works3 programming software, go to "Tools" > "Configuration File Management" > "Login", and select the CSPP file to be installed, as shown in Figure 5-1-3.
04. Creating and configuring projects
After creating a new project, select "Ethernet Port". In the module parameters window, enable the CC-Link IE Field Basic protocol and click "Network Configuration Settings". In the CC-Link IE 2F Basic window, select "Automatic Detection of Connected Devices".
To view the slave parameters, right-click the first EX-1140 and select "Online" > "Process Slave Parameters". In the Process Slave Parameters window, select "Parameter Read" and execute.
To view the number of logic stations occupied by EX-1140, the model of the module in each slot, and the module address information, you can export this information to an Excel spreadsheet.

Note: The address information here is an offset and needs to be used in conjunction with the starting address set by the user.

Note: The number of occupied stations can be read online or calculated manually. If the actual number of occupied stations does not match the set value, communication will fail.
Configure refresh settings
Download the program to the PLC and power off and restart the PLC. Force DO output in the monitoring list.

05. Configure abnormal bus behavior
In the CC-Link IEF Basic configuration window, right-click on the EX-1140 slave that needs to be configured, select "Online" > "Process Slave Parameters", select "Parameter Write" in the Process Slave Parameters window, and modify the bus exception output behavior mode.
