Recently, Boston Dynamics showcased a remarkable robot in a video. A person tried to stop the robot from opening a door with a baseball bat. The robot struggled and exerted force, but ultimately the human's efforts failed, and the robot successfully walked out of the door.
According to foreign media reports, the most striking detail in the video is that the robot performs these actions almost entirely spontaneously, at least according to the video's description.
Many robots today are able to easily break free from negative external guidance. As the title of the video above suggests, Boston Dynamics is actually doing a job of testing the robustness of robots, that is, teaching robots how to adapt to different environments and solve different problems.
