The ECI2618B/ECI2A18B network motion controller card, compared to the original ECI2618 network motion controller card:

Increase the number of motor shafts

Four single-ended pulse axes have been added (by selecting the ECI2A18B control card from the ECI2618B series), allowing users to control more motor axes.

Enhance high-speed input capability

The 8 digital input ports (IN0~IN7) are upgraded to high-speed input ports, among which IN0~IN3 have 4 high-speed latching functions. Users can simultaneously achieve high-precision position capture and latching functions at multiple points, which effectively improves the monitoring response speed and accuracy of sensor or actuator signals.

Enhance high-speed output capability

Upgrade the 12-channel IO digital output ports to high-speed output ports. OUT0~OUT3 can be configured as 4-channel PWM function, OUT0~OUT1 can be configured as PSO function, and OUT8~OUT15 can be configured as 4-axis single-ended pulse output of axes 6~9.

In addition, to meet the needs of users requiring Hardware Comparison Output (PSO) functionality, we have also launched the ECI2618B-HW/ECI2A18B-HW models that support HW functionality, which can greatly enhance the application range and functionality of the control card. The ECI2618B/ECI2A18B is a 6-axis/10-axis pulse-type, modular network motion control card. Utilizing an optimized network communication protocol, it enables real-time motion control and supports multiple communication protocols, facilitating connection and integration with other industrial control equipment. Installation and configuration are relatively convenient, making it suitable for control systems requiring high modularity and flexibility.

The ECI2618B/ECI2A18B control card can be expanded to a maximum of 12 pulse axes, supports 8 high-speed inputs and 12 high-speed outputs, and integrates rich motion control functions, including multi-axis point-to-point motion, electronic cam, linear interpolation, circular interpolation, continuous interpolation motion, etc., to meet diverse industrial application needs.

Zhengdong provides its own self-developed IDE-RTSys programming software. The ECI2618B control card supports the development of multiple host computer languages, all of which can call the same set of API function libraries, making it easy to integrate with existing industrial control systems. This greatly improves the efficiency of engineers in secondary development and accelerates the deployment and application of equipment.
