With technological advancements and improved production levels, industrial control computers (ICCs) have become increasingly robust in terms of protection and workload. Currently, ICCs are widely used and play an irreplaceable role in various industrial environments. Proper maintenance of ICCs in daily operations is crucial for preventing machine malfunctions and saving factory equipment costs. Therefore, learning and understanding the use and maintenance methods of ICCs is very helpful for effectively utilizing them in industrial environments.

I. Normal Usage

1. Do not disassemble the industrial computer at will. If a malfunction occurs, please refer to the common faults and troubleshooting methods of industrial computers, or contact the manufacturer immediately.

2. When the industrial computer is in normal use, please ensure that it operates in a non-vibrating environment to avoid damaging the hard drive.

3. The monitor is easily scratched. Do not wipe the screen with ordinary tissues, cloths, etc., and do not touch the screen with your fingers or pens.

You can use a monitor-specific cleaning product to clean it.

4. To ensure the heat dissipation of the industrial computer, we strongly recommend that you clean the dustproof sponge of the industrial computer every three months.

5. To ensure the efficient and reliable operation of the industrial control computer, we recommend that you perform disk cleanup and disk defragmentation every three months.

6. Please back up important data on your industrial computer regularly to avoid data loss due to malfunctions.

7. If your industrial PC needs to connect to the Internet or a local area network, in order to ensure the reliable operation of the industrial PC, we strongly recommend that you install antivirus software in advance and keep it updated regularly to prevent virus attacks from causing system paralysis.

8. We recommend that you use a genuine licensed operating system and related application software.

9. If you need to install other application software, please read the instruction manual of the software you want to install, confirm whether the software is compatible with the industrial control computer's operating system, and confirm whether your industrial control computer's hardware configuration meets the software's hardware requirements.

10. We recommend that industrial control computers be dedicated to specific tasks and managed by dedicated personnel.

II. Usage Environment and Precautions

1. When using an industrial computer, please ensure that the ambient temperature is between 0 and 55 degrees Celsius.

2. When using an industrial control computer, please ensure that the ambient relative humidity is between 5% and 95% and there is no condensation.

3. When using an industrial control computer, please ensure that the power supply voltage is between 200 and 240V AC.

4. When using an industrial computer, please try to avoid environments with high humidity, extreme temperatures, vibration, and dust.

5. The opening on the left side of the industrial computer and the heat dissipation vent at the rear of the power supply are for ventilation. This is to ensure the industrial computer functions normally and reliably.

To prevent overheating, do not block or cover these openings.

6. When using an industrial computer, please keep a distance of more than one meter from equipment that generates strong electromagnetic interference (such as frequency converters and motors).

7. After shutting down the industrial control unit, please wait at least 8 seconds before restarting it.

8. To ensure the reliable operation of the industrial control computer, we strongly recommend that you do not arbitrarily change the motherboard's BIOS settings.

9. When using the industrial PC's I/O interface, we strongly recommend that you do not hot-plug it to avoid electrostatic damage. When the industrial PC experiences a power outage not caused by human error, to ensure its normal and reliable operation, we strongly recommend that you immediately disconnect the power supply and reconnect it only after confirming the power grid is stable. If power supply is tight and power outages occur frequently, we strongly recommend that you equip the industrial PC with a UPS power supply of appropriate specifications to ensure stable operation.

10. Do not place the industrial computer on an uneven surface.
