With the continuous promotion of automated production, industrial robots are being widely adopted. They accurately and tirelessly complete various simple repetitive tasks, effectively improving labor productivity and reducing production costs. Industry insiders say that industrial automation is deeply integrated into various fields, making life more convenient.

Under the new normal, automation transformation and the widespread adoption of industrial robots are evident.

With the gradual development of electronic technology, increasingly advanced and intelligent machines have given humanity a bright future, leading to a surge in interest in robots across various sectors. In recent years, the development of robots has been remarkably rapid. For example, in earthquake rescue, two earthquake rescue robots developed by the Shenyang Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, have played a significant role, helping rescue teams successfully complete their missions and expanding new areas for the development of robots in China. In the manufacturing sector, the development of robots and industrial automation has also been rapid. While robots were primarily used in the automotive industry in the past, this has now been broken through, and they are now being widely adopted in other manufacturing industries. We learned from Dongguan, Guangdong, that last year, led by the Dongguan Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, Guangdong Topstar, as the main speaker, gave seven presentations in over 30 towns and districts on automation and the "one-year payback period" of replacing human labor with machines. The presentations also highlighted the company's core technological advantages in high-speed servo robotic arms and non-standard automation, greatly promoting the pace of replacing human labor with machines (the transformation and upgrading of traditional manufacturing to industrial automation).

Under the new normal, more and more traditional manufacturing enterprises will be gradually replaced by robots, and this will slowly become more widespread and integrated into people's daily lives. Automated production is deeply integrated into various fields, making life more convenient, and various robotic arms, injection molding machines, stamping machines, conveyors, and so on are constantly appearing in our sight.

However, the rapid advancement of modern technology and automation has also caused considerable anxiety. As robots have gradually entered our lives, alarming incidents have occurred. In Japan, a repairman in a factory accidentally pressed the start button on a gear-processing machine. The machine immediately began operating, mistaking the worker for a gear, grabbing him, and crushing him into a pulp on the processing table. In the summer of 1982, a British female worker was testing the battery of an industrial robot when it suddenly activated, breaking her arm in two. Robots' inability to distinguish between humans and industrial products has led to human casualties due to their erroneous actions.

Although these "automated machines" are closely related to industrial life and even facilitate our production, it cannot be denied that they can cause harm to humans.

However, some Chinese industry insiders hold a completely different view: with the worsening labor shortage and the transformation of the manufacturing industry, robots can help humans. For example, simply introducing a few robots can accelerate industrial development. Machine automation is the best production tool and human partner, capable of performing various tasks without complaint, working extremely fast, with extremely high accuracy, and with extremely long endurance, enabling work in all walks of life to be done better, faster, more accurately, and with higher quality.

However, it must be clear that whether we like it or not, the age of robots has truly arrived and is already beginning to impact our lives. What are your thoughts on this future?
