Open TIA Portal V16, and select "Options" > "Support Device Description File (GSD)" in the menu bar.
04. Configuration of New Construction Projects and Equipment
1. Open TIA Portal V16, select New Project and configure it.
2. Configure the device, switch to the network view window, expand the hardware catalog on the right, select PN-HH00-C1NN and drag it into the network view.
3. In the network view, assign a controller to the remote IO module. Click "Unassigned" in the IO module and select PLC_1.PROFINET interface_1.
4. Set the IP address of the I/O module. In the device view, double-click the module to enter the property view.
5. To assign a device name to a remote I/O module, right-click the module and select "Assign Device Name".
6. Select the interface type and update the list and assign a name.
7. Select all devices in the network view and download.
8. After the program download is complete, start the CPU to run and switch to online monitoring to check if the communication is normal.
