In the field of industrial control, industrial PCs are indispensable devices. They not only monitor and control machines but also enable autonomous operation, improving production efficiency and quality. However, for users new to industrial PCs, installing the system can be a complex task. So, which key should we press to install the industrial PC system?
We need to prepare a blank industrial PC and the CD required for system installation. Before starting the installation, we can change the boot order to CD-ROM in the BIOS settings.
Insert the CD into the CD-ROM drive and press F12 when the industrial computer is powered on to enter the boot menu. Select "Boot from CD/DVD drive" and press Enter to confirm. The CD will then automatically begin the installation program and display the installation interface.
In the installation interface, we need to follow the prompts to complete various settings. First, we need to select options such as language, time zone, keyboard, and installation method. These can be chosen according to specific needs and circumstances.
Enter the partition selection interface. In this step, we need to partition the hard drive and select the partition where we will install the operating system. When selecting a partition, pay attention to factors such as size, format, and whether there is already data on it.
After selecting the disk partition, the system will automatically copy files and configure the installation program. This process takes some time; just wait patiently.
After the files are copied, the system will prompt you to enter your username, computer name, and other information. You can customize this information to your needs; however, it is recommended to provide accurate information for easier management and operation later. Once you have entered the information, the system will automatically complete the final setup and install the industrial control computer system.
Finally, you need to restart the machine. Press F12 at the boot screen to enter the boot menu, select the system partition installed on the boot disk, and press Enter to confirm entering the system. At this point, we have successfully installed the industrial control computer system and can proceed with subsequent operations and configurations.
Installing an industrial control computer system requires following the prompts to configure various settings and select appropriate parameters. Pressing F12 will enter the boot menu; select CD-ROM boot and configure the installation program. After installation, you need to restart the machine and press F12 again to select the system partition installed on the boot disk to enter the system. These steps become very simple after practice and operation, making it easy to complete the installation of the industrial control computer system.
