The EM730 series frequency converter is a high-reliability, small-size general-purpose frequency converter launched by ZhengXin Electric: the EM730 supports three-phase AC asynchronous motors, and the EM730 permanent magnet non-standard version supports permanent magnet synchronous motors; it supports multiple drive control technologies: vector VF control technology (VVF) and sensorless vector control technology (SVC); it supports both speed and torque output forms, and supports Wi-Fi access and background software debugging functions.
01 Direct start upon power supply
To enable direct start-up of the frequency converter upon power-on, the relevant operating control parameters of the frequency converter need to be set correctly so that it can directly start and drive the motor after power-on.
This process requires ensuring that the power input to the frequency converter is normal, the frequency converter is in normal working condition, and the motor and related equipment are in normal standby condition.
step:
02 Jumper Cap Settings
The functions of the jumper cap on the EM730 frequency converter are as follows:
1. Select the input type (NPN/PNP) for the digital input terminal.
2. Select the signal type for the analog input terminal (AI2).
3. Select the signal type for the analog output terminal (M1). Switch between the desired types by changing the pin position on the jumper cap.
The J10 jumper cap is used to select the wiring method for the digital input terminals. Connecting it to the top enables NPN wiring; connecting it to the bottom enables PNP wiring. The wiring diagram is shown below.
The J7 jumper cap is used to set the output type of analog output port M1. Connected to the top, it outputs a voltage signal; connected to the bottom, it outputs a current signal.
The J8 jumper cap is used to select the analog signal type for the AI2 input port. Connect it to the top for voltage signals; connect it to the bottom for analog signals.
