CNC machine tools are an important part of industrial development, and the requirements for machining accuracy are becoming increasingly stringent. In applications where there is slippage in the transmission mechanism or excessive lead screw backlash, a fully closed-loop control system can effectively avoid mechanical errors, providing extremely high control accuracy and reliability.
Working principle
The closed-loop principle involves adding a position feedback device, such as a grating ruler or magnetic grating, to the mechanism. During the movement of the servo receiving position commands from the system, the position information of the grating ruler/magnetic grating is used to determine the actual position of the machine, which can reduce the error of the mechanical transmission mechanism.
To meet the high standards and requirements of customers for machining accuracy, the Wuhan Maixin EP5-EC servo drive was used by a CNC machine tool company to support CNC machine tool equipment and complete its closed-loop application.
