EX Series CANopen Bus Adapter
The EX-1050 is a CANopen bus adapter, and each module can be expanded to support up to 32 input/output modules.

Connect the adapter to your computer, open the "IOTesterTool" software, create a new project, for example, name the project "Demo", and then click the "Confirm" button.
In the "Coupler" list on the right, double-click "EX-1050", then move the mouse over the text "EX-1050" in the project list on the left, right-click and select "Link Adapter" from the pop-up menu.
If the adapter communicates normally with the PC, the software will automatically recognize the mounted I/O modules.
Move your mouse over the text "EX-1050" in the project list on the left, right-click and select "Export EDS File" from the pop-up menu. In the pop-up window, set the save location and file name, and then click the "Save" button.
02. Product Use Cases
Using and configuring the EX-1050 in InoProShop:
1. Install EDS files
Open the CODESYS programming software, go to "Tools" > "Device Library" > "Install", and select the EDS file you want to install.
2. Creating and configuring projects
Open the InoProShop programming software to create a project and select the corresponding CPU model. In the project configuration on the left, double-click to open "LocalBus Config", click on the CPU and select "CANopen Master".
In the device list on the left, double-click "CANOPEN (CANopen Master)" to configure the CANopen master communication parameters.
Double-click to open "Network Configuration". In the configuration window, select "EX-1050" from the third-party manufacturer list in the CANopen list of network devices.
Double-click the EX-1050 module in the device list and configure the node ID (Note: The node ID must match the address set by the actual address DIP switch, otherwise communication will not be possible).
Check the actual I/O mapping address of the CANopen module.

Note: When "NET-ERR" is in the "Device Communication Error Warning" state, it can be reset by sending the "Reset Communication" command through the NMT service.
