3. Automatic scanning

Connect the adapter to your computer, open the "IOTesterTool" software, create a new project, for example, name the project "Demo", and then click the "Confirm" button.

In the "Coupler" list on the right, double-click "EX-1050", then move the mouse over the text "EX-1050" in the project list on the left, right-click and select "Link Adapter" from the pop-up menu.

If the adapter communicates normally with the PC, the software will automatically recognize the mounted I/O modules.

Move your mouse over the text "EX-1050" in the project list on the left, right-click and select "Export EDS File" from the pop-up menu. In the pop-up window, set the save location and file name, and then click the "Save" button.

02. Product Use Cases

Using and configuring the EX-1050 in InoProShop:

1. Install EDS files

Open the CODESYS programming software, go to "Tools" > "Device Library" > "Install", and select the EDS file you want to install.

2. Creating and configuring projects

Open the InoProShop programming software to create a project and select the corresponding CPU model. In the project configuration on the left, double-click to open "LocalBus Config", click on the CPU and select "CANopen Master".

In the device list on the left, double-click "CANOPEN (CANopen Master)" to configure the CANopen master communication parameters.

Double-click to open "Network Configuration". In the configuration window, select "EX-1050" from the third-party manufacturer list in the CANopen list of network devices.

Double-click the EX-1050 module in the device list and configure the node ID (Note: The node ID must match the address set by the actual address DIP switch, otherwise communication will not be possible).

Check the actual I/O mapping address of the CANopen module.
