Briefly explain why cars do not use lithium-ion batteries.

First, safety performance needs improvement. A puncture in a lithium battery is 100% catastrophic – an explosion and subsequent fire! The larger the capacity, the greater the explosive force. Developing highly safe lithium batteries isn't impossible, but the first question is whether your measures truly and significantly improve safety? Can they remain safe in numerous scenarios?

This power is no less than that of a time bomb. In terms of cost, although lithium batteries have a long lifespan and are durable, they are not cheap. Especially after adding various safety measures, the price is estimated to be unacceptable.

Secondly, capitalists are driven by cost considerations. Simply put, lithium batteries are more expensive than lead-acid batteries. Although they are more environmentally friendly and efficient, ordinary people won't be willing to spend more money on a car just for "environmental protection." Thirdly, while lithium batteries are becoming more widespread, the environments in different regions are complex. Taking China as an example, the environments in the Northeast and Southwest are vastly different. Lithium batteries still have higher operating requirements than lead-acid batteries, so lead-acid batteries should remain the primary choice. However, with the development of technology and manufacturing, people will certainly be able to use better and cheaper products.

Once traditional lead-acid batteries are completely replaced by lithium batteries, many people will lose their jobs. It's like newspaper printing plants; some newspapers have even moved 99% of their information services and revenue to mobile clients or other electronic platforms, but they still need to maintain the "very costly" printing production line. This is because they need to support a group of people, stabilize society, and reduce unemployment.

While lead-acid batteries are bulky, they perform exceptionally well. They generate a large current the instant the circuit is switched on, providing the initial burst of power needed for ignition, not a continuous current. Even when depleted, they can still produce enough current to start the car. Lithium-ion batteries, on the other hand, have a smoother charging curve and lack this initial burst of power, making them unsuitable as starting batteries. In two-wheeled electric vehicles, you can easily feel the difference in acceleration between lead-acid and lithium-ion batteries!

Cherish every connection! Those destined to be together will not be missed; those destined to be together should not be missed; those with a sense of righteousness should not be missed. When fate brings you together, seize it and hold on tight; when fate takes you away, do not regret it, let everything be as it may.

True affection lies in mutual understanding between people; true affinity lies in mutual comprehension. Sincerity is the foundation of lasting relationships; cherishing is the key to enduring possession.
