Recycling process for used lead-acid batteries:
1. Used lead-acid batteries will be transported to the smelting plant warehouse using specialized environmentally friendly vehicles;
2. Pour the electrolyte from the waste lead-acid batteries into a sedimentation tank for chemical treatment;
Third, dismantle the used lead-acid batteries and send the casings to a plastic recycling plant for professional processing;
4. Sorting the separators of used lead-acid batteries and sending them to specialized recycling plants for processing;
Fifth, the sorted waste plates are sent to a large reverberatory furnace for smelting and production of lead ingots for recycling;
VI. Wastewater generated during the smelting process flows into a sedimentation tank and is treated with chemicals along with the electrolyte;
7. Waste slag generated during the smelting process shall be sent to a professional ironmaking plant for treatment;
8. The waste fumes generated during the smelting process are treated by a bag filter dust collector and then safely discharged. This concludes the environmentally friendly recycling process for waste lead-acid batteries.
Waste batteries contain a large amount of recyclable heavy metals and acids. For example, the recycling of lead-acid batteries mainly focuses on the reuse of waste lead, but also includes the utilization of waste acid and the plastic casing. Currently, the metal recycling rate of waste automotive lead-acid batteries in China is approximately 80-85%.
Industry insiders estimate that processing 100,000 waste batteries per day could generate a profit of around 20,000 yuan after deducting various expenses; with 7 billion batteries processed and a 50% utilization rate, the annual profit could reach over 600 million yuan. Clearly, large-scale operations in this field can generate substantial profits.
