Correct charging method for lithium-ion batteries

Newly purchased lithium-ion batteries or lithium-ion batteries that have been stored unused for a long time generally need to be activated by charging. However, the activation of lithium-ion batteries is different from that of other types of batteries. Lithium-ion batteries are easy to activate and can usually be activated and restored to their normal capacity after three to five normal charge-discharge cycles.
Due to their inherent characteristics, lithium-ion batteries have virtually no memory effect. Therefore, no special methods or equipment are needed for activating lithium-ion batteries through charging. Using standard charging methods for natural activation is the best approach for lithium-ion batteries.

Normally, to extend the lifespan of lithium-ion batteries, they are charged by connecting the charger when the battery level is close to the low battery warning line, and then charged until fully charged.
It is best not to wait until the lithium-ion battery is completely depleted before charging it. Doing so may cause the lithium-ion battery to over-discharge, resulting in a low voltage and ultimately preventing it from charging and turning on normally.
However, you don't necessarily have to wait until the battery level drops to the warning line before charging. All the products in our lives are designed to make our lives more convenient. If you need to charge the lithium-ion battery when it still has a lot of power left, you can charge it in advance. Don't put the cart before the horse.
