What are the different causes of lithium-ion battery explosions?
1. Do not overcharge lithium-ion batteries, as overcharging can not only cause a permanent decrease in battery capacity, but also cause a short circuit between the positive and negative terminals, resulting in severe damage to battery performance and potentially an explosion;
2. Water absorption by the electrodes causes a reaction with the electrolyte, resulting in bulging on the surface of the battery cell. If this bulges to an extreme degree, it can lead to an explosion.
3. The battery electrolyte itself has deteriorated and its performance has worsened;
4. During injection, the injection volume does not meet safety requirements;
5. Poor welding sealing during the assembly process leads to easy air leakage;
6. Dust or powder adhering to the electrode can cause a micro short circuit.
