1. If you notice any discoloration, deformation, or other unusual characteristics in the battery, please stop using it. During actual charging, if the battery fails to complete charging beyond the specified time, please stop charging; otherwise, it may cause battery leakage, overheating, or damage.
2. In daily use, newly charged lithium-ion batteries should be left to stand for half an hour to allow their charging performance to stabilize before use; otherwise, battery performance will be affected. Do not store batteries with metal objects to prevent metal objects from touching the positive and negative terminals of the battery, causing a short circuit, damaging the battery, or even posing a danger.
3. Under normal circumstances, the charging current of a lithium-ion battery will be cut off by the upstream circuit when it reaches a certain voltage. However, due to differences in the voltage and current parameters of the overcharge and over-discharge protection circuits built into some devices, the charging may not stop even when the battery is fully charged. Overcharging can also damage battery performance.
4. During battery operation, the wiring bolts of the lithium-ion battery must be checked weekly for overheating, the appearance of the lithium-ion battery must be checked monthly for abnormal deformation, and the connecting wires and bolts must be checked every six months for looseness or corrosion. Loose bolts must be tightened in time, and corroded joints should be cleaned in time.
5. Ambient temperature has a significant impact on the discharge capacity, lifespan, self-discharge, and internal resistance of batteries. Although switching power supplies have temperature compensation functions, their sensitivity and adjustment range are ultimately limited. Therefore, ambient temperature is extremely important. Operation and maintenance personnel must check and record the ambient temperature of the battery room daily. The battery room temperature should be controlled between 22 and 25°C. This not only extends battery life but also ensures optimal battery capacity.
